In order to achieve long term change, a person needs to identify their current negative life cycles and patterns. Ecclesiastes teaches of the cycles in humanity and nature. Some cycles cannot be changed and thus we need to focus on accepting them. Other patterns and cycles we have adopted that keep us in emotional distress and addictions can be changed. My goal is to help clients identify negative cycles that keep them in emotional turmoil and addictions, then making changes that will help to empower clients to become the person they wish to be, one step at a time.
Clients with depression, anxiety, and addictions can benefit from understanding how to break these negative cycles. We start with a thorough identification of current patterns, then identify where positive changes can be made. You can learn to maintain a stable mood, manage anger, and break free of addictions.
In twenty years of military service I found that we need to constantly evaluate our perceptions and behaviors. If our perceptions are not based in truth then they will not serve us well and need to be changed. Change is inevitable and postive change is the key to success.
