Dr. Christopher Stevens

Psychologist , PhD

(253) 235-0240
I am committed to helping people live happier, more satisfying lives. I know that relationship and work difficulties, anxiety, depression and cultural issues can make it harder to live the life you want. I have a flexible style and work collaboratively, taking into account your family and personal history, racial/cultural background, religious/spiritual life, sexual orientation, and other identities. Together we will figure out what approach will work best for you. If you have questions after looking over my profile and website about whether I am the right therapist for you, I offer 20-minute free phone consultations.
I have specialized training and extensive experience working with all kinds of couples. This also allows me to work more effectively with individuals who are struggling with relationship issues. I also specialize in stress management and reduction and incorporate mindfulness work into my practice.
In addition to seeing individuals, couples and groups, I also provide supervision for postdoctoral psychologists and specialize in working with therapists who want to integrate aspects of their professional work with exploration of their own dynamics.
