Psychologist , MA , LP , LMFT

I have practiced for 29 years in Minnesota, seeing children, adults, couples and families. My practice currently is primarily with adults and couples (and teens) who are seeking a therapist who is collaborative, offers guidance and new perspectives, and believes the client is ultimately in charge of change. I value awareness, mindfulness and the process of living out a personal story that is based on strengths and hopefulness. Above all, I believe that if people feel respected and cared for they are capable of growth and moving through even the most difficult times.
As noted above, I enjoy working with both individuals and couples. My initial training as a family therapist has helped me to remember the family my client may live with now, the family in which they were raised and the neighborhood and its culture in which they grew up.
I practice in one location currently; a Private Practice which is part of a Wellness Center in South Minneapolis. The Center includes other practitioners who collaborate with one another for cross-refferrals and work towards informing one another on current mind-body practices.

Men's and/or Father's Support Groups

I have offered one Father's group to-date as part of my private practice in collaboration with another Wellness Center colleague. I would consider offering another group when there is demand for this again. The experience was well-received by the nine men who participated in the group. I believe this type of experience is crucial for men, as few opportunities such as this exist in the human service culture.
