Carolyn Crotty, MA, ATR, LCMHC, RYT, Art Therapist in Burlington
Are you or your child struggling with issues of anxiety, discontent or other challenges that prevent you from being the best version of yourself? I believe my approach of community based art therapy can help. I aim to use creative expression and our surroundings to help you gain awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviors and to practice skills and strategies for living a joyful life. In these sessions, art becomes another way to communicate as well as a tool for learning about yourself and for relieving stress and anxiety.
Sessions are most often conducted in a sunny, spacious art studio above a popular cafe in downtown Burlington just off of Church Street. In some circumstances when working with children, I will provide sessions in your child's home or school.
I hope you'll find my community and home-based art therapy approach refreshing and that it leaves you feeling empowered instead of stuck or anxious. If you'd like to set up an appointment or learn more, please send me a message by email or voicemail.
