Chelsea Barlow

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , MSW , LCSW

(801) 935-8763
My focus as a therapist is helping clients identify and understand barriers in their life that are preventing them from achieving peace and happiness they seek. I believe with knowledge comes power; as people gain insight into problems affecting them they can gain insight on how to achieve change in their life now, despite what has happened in the their past. I help people draw on their strengths to cope with challenges and weaknesses and to achieve change. Most importantly I work to empower clients and help them develop necessary skills to be successful after our work together is done.
My specialties include eating disorders and helping adolescents struggling with suicide thoughts and self-harming behaviors. I also enjoy working with adults and children (8 years and older). I have experience helping clients address anxiety, mood disorders such as depression, low self-esteem, behavior and social problems, and relationship conflicts.
You are welcome to call me for a free phone consultation so I may address any questions or concerns you may have.

I highly recommend Karson as a clinician due to his knowledge, people skills and experience. Karson is dedicated to his work and the clients he works with. He has the ability to connect with people while maintaining a professional relationship in order to help clients work through sensitive issues.
Chelsea has great clinical skills and is a personable therapist as well. As a fellow clinician in the same group practice, I receive feedback that her clients enjoy working with her to resolve issues. She makes them feel very comfortable while working on tough issues.
