If you are feeling trapped and consumed by anxiety, an eating disorder, body image distress or OCD, I am a personable, compassionate and non-judgmental therapist who can help you take charge of your life again. I would feel privileged to provide you with a safe space and useful coping tools in a friendly therapeutic setting. Intense emotions and obsessive thinking often take us out of the present moment and slow our progress towards a life of passion, presence and purpose.

I specialize in treating individuals struggling with all forms of eating disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, panic attacks and anxiety disorders. My therapeutic work is informed by evidence-based behavioral practices such as DBT, ACT & ERP which provide practical techniques to learn new ways of interacting with uncomfortable thoughts and painful emotions. Our therapy sessions will be collaborative, goal-oriented and recovery focused.

Therapy also includes evaluating past influences on your current behavior, clarification of goals and values, and identification of strengths which will help us create a realistic future for you to move towards using your new set of tools acquired in therapy. I also co-lead an Eating Disorder & Body Image therapy group as well as a Radically Open DBT Skills group for those struggling with overcontrolled personality traits such as perfectionism, rigidity & social isolation commonly experienced by those struggling with anxiety, OCD and eating/body issues.

Eating Disorder Recovery & Body Image Skills Group

Skills group for those who struggle with: disordered eating behaviors, negative body image, compulsive exercise, chronic dieting and or restricting and purging. The group will help you learn to accept the body you live in using skills from DBT, ACT and mind-body practices. Monday's 5pm, $40.
