Therapy can feel daunting, especially at first, so it's important that you feel a comfortable connection with a therapist. Maybe you're here because you've been feeling the need to resolve problems or for support. I view therapy as a collaborative process. We can talk about issues you feel ready to discuss. My intention is to create an environment where you feel safe to explore what's troubling you. We can work together and move at your pace - therapy is part talking, part listening and part teaching. The end goal is to help you find relief and solutions.
I work with adults, couples and adolescents and have specialty training in the following areas: relationship dynamics, communication issues, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, alcohol/drug problems, codependence, trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, LGBT, self-inflicted violence or self-injurers (cutting, burning, etc.).
In addition to daytime hours, I also offer hours on Wednesday evenings and most weekends. Please feel free to call me if you have questions or if you'd like to set up an initial consultation.
