I am a licensed Psychiatric Social Worker with 20+ years of experience working in a clinical setting with children, adolescents, and adults as well as in schools and the community. I have served as a field instructor for SUNY Albany School of Social Welfare since 1996 as needed and I have done a rotation at Fort Drum, New York providing mental health services to the families of active military personnel and to couples.
I have experience in helping children , adolescents, and their families with academic and behavioral issues as well as strengthening family relationships. As a mental health clinician I have expertise in treating people with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. I love working with couples and take a strength based approach.
My life experience and challenges have given me empathy and compassion for others who struggle with changes in their lives. I believe that my skills and life experience gives me the ability to help people find their strengths and resilience to create the life they really want and to find the happiness that they deserve.
