Dale Allgeier, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Erie
You have the power, at any given moment, to say "oh no, this is not how this story is going to end!" My passion is helping you find peace in your life by empowering you to succeed in overcoming difficulties and adversities. I believe therapy is a way to practice and balance strategies of acceptance and change. My style is warm, active and encouraging. My approach is rooted in a mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral model, while integrating other therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs.
I have over twenty years experience working with individuals, couples and families who are dealing with such issues as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, family & relationship difficulties, gender & sexuality issues, grief & loss, and life transitions. I have specific training and experience working with LGBT individuals, couples and families.
The office suite where I practice is very warm and comfortable and is centrally located in the downtown area. The office suite is fully accessible and is located on a bus route.
