Danielle Doucette, PsyD, Psychologist in Chicago
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in and is passionate about working with individuals who struggle with eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, or compulsive/emotional eating), and anxiety disorders, including panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. I received highly specialized training in these areas in various eating disorder treatment centers throughout Chicagoland. I also work with individuals who are struggling with relationships or managing stress.
My treatment philosophy promotes self-reflection, self-understanding, and physical and emotional well-being. Using acceptance- and mindfulness-based approaches, I use a collaborative, individualized approach to help individuals make meaningful changes.
It is my goal to guide individuals to focus energies on living a valued life and learn to cope with painful thoughts, feelings, or experiences in an accepting, non-judgmental manner.
