Emotional, relational, financial and physical health are definite priorities in our culture - we expect a higher quality of life than ever before. There are critical points in life during which we reassess personal values, contentment and goals. Counseling can be one of the most rewarding and beneficial learning experiences toward understanding what we want out of our lives. I believe people need an intuitive sense of trust in the therapist with whom they work. You should expect an interactive, nonjudgmental environment in which to explore your concerns. I work with people on probems from many area of life. My style is goal oriented with a problem solving focus; I use a variety of techniques learned over two decades of practice to help people change unproductive habits. I focus on individual resiliency using a cognitive behavioral approach.
Each personal situation is unique and should be treated as such with consideration for your financial and time management needs. To accomodate varied schedules, webcam allows additional flexibility. Skype or Facetime sessions by appointment are available. Insurance, however, does not typically reimburse for on-line therapy sessions.
