David J Corriss, PhD, Psychologist in Dover
Are you experiencing inattention, forgetfulness/memory loss, disorganization, negative emotions (depression, anxiety), academic/ occupational struggles, and/or interpersonal/social difficulties? Do these problems negatively affect your well-being or interfere with meeting your life's goals? I offer Neuropsychological and Personality testing aimed at providing diagnostic clarification and a deeper understanding of your unique cognitive and personality patterns and your social and emotional capacities to develop an effective treatment plan to resolve these difficulties. I also offer Psychotherapy aimed at pinpointing logical and proven treatment approaches based on identifying how you try to master conflicted emotional states.
I provide DSM-5 (American Psychiatric Association's Classification System) Diagnostic Assessments for many disorders including, but not limited to: ADHD, Autism, LD, ODD, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, Mood Disorders, OCD, PTSD, TBI, and Schizophrenia. Neuropsychological and Psychological Testing are offered for individuals from the ages of 6 and up.
My psychotherapeutic aim is to reduce your psychological suffering and to promote personal growth and the development of positive emotions as rapidly and as durably as possible. I do not fit you to a fixed treatment but rather design the therapeutic approach to your unique personality.
