Dorian Mintzer, PhD, LICSW, BCC, Psychologist in Boston
I have 40+ years of experience as a therapist, life/retirement transition coach/ money and relationship coach, consultant, speaker and group and workshop facilitator. I work with individuals and couples who are dealing with "what's next?" and want help to develop a sense of well-being as they navigate the "second half of life." I am noted for my warmth, humor, "optimistic realism" and strong belief in the importance of living a full life with connection, engagement and purpose and meaning. I also work with college students and adults with ADD and other life transition issues.
I utilize my understanding of adult development, positive psychology and holistic life planning combined with my own personal and professional experiences to help people clarify their vision for "what's next?" so they can make conscious and intentional decisions to create a fulfilling and meaningful life.
I work in person or on the phone. I am co-author of "The Couple's Retirement Puzzle: 10 Must-Have Conversations..." and have contributed to a number of other books. I teach, offer groups, workshops, seminars and keynote speeches on the "retirement transition puzzle" to professionals and the public.

Dorian Mintzer's Groups

"What's Next?" Retirement Transition Issues

A new group is starting for women interested in exploring "what's next?" in life. Let me know if you're interested. It may be in person or on the phone, depending on interest. My goal is to start this group as soon as I get even interested people. OR--get a group of your friends and colleagues who would like to talk about these issues, consult with me and hire me to facilitate the group. The group can be in person or on the phone.
