Dr. Jenifer Balch, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S, CAS, Licensed Professional Counselor in Dallas
Life can be filled with unexpected challenges and I would love the opportunity to support you through your journey. I highly value the therapeutic relationship and work to build an environment where you feel safe, accepted, valued, and understood. Sessions may include play therapy, activity therapy, expressive arts, and/or traditional talk therapy. Everyone is unique and I work to tailor the counseling process to meet your specific needs. Most importantly, I want you to feel you are in the care of someone who can help you meet your goals. I offer a free phone consultation to help you decide.
While I work with a wide variety of individuals, I specialize in children, parent training, grief and trauma, anxiety, and relationship concerns. I also have extensive training and experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, I have received specialized training in the administration and interpretation of psychoeducational assessments.
During my 10+ years of experience, I have helped many individuals, couples, and families find improved self-understanding and happiness. In addition to providing direct counseling services, I help train other counselors through supervising, presenting, and teaching as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University.
