I believe that, as human beings, we continually work within ourselves, trying to realize our hopes, desires and ambitions, Sometimes this is harder than what we can accomplish; we feel conflicted, helpless, and stuck. At such times turning to thoughtful and experienced assistance may be of help. As a psychodynamic psychotherapist I view myself as a possible assistant to the person's own efforts to do his or her psychological work.
I try to provide a dependable, safe, fully confidential situation for detailed conversations to explore the person's difficulties in his/her life situation, relations, and inner life. I put my mind to work with the person to understand, support and expand his/her own ways for finding solutions.
I have many years of experience doing psychotherapeutic work; also in teaching and supervising trainees. I am continually interested in how we, as different human beings, try to make sense of our circumstances in life and try to overcome the many obstacles we encounter, and try to be of help.
