Dr. Ismael Calderon

Psychologist , PhD , MA

The key to a successful therapy experience begins with a sincere, empathic, and authentic connection between client and therapist. I work collaboratively with you to create a safe and supportive environment tailored to meet your unique needs and situation. In my experience, the process of therapy works best if we work as a team and focus on specific goals. As a psychologist I am practical and pragmatic in helping my clients develop a treatment plan that will not only provide them effective relief from symptoms, but one that also can help them develop a new vision for living more creative and fully realized lives.
I have worked extensively with multicultural issues, developmentally delayed children and adolescents, high risk adolescents, family therapy, couples therapy, adolescent and adult psychotherapy. My approach to therapy involves first a Bio-Social Integrative model with Cognitive Behavioral therapy as my foundation. I can also conduct therapy in Spanish as well as psychological testing.
It is essential that you find a psychotherapist with whom you feel comfortable discussing the important details of your life experience. Please feel free to contact me for a free, confidential telephone consultation or in person. The building is handicap accessible, ADA compliant.
