Lifeways Stepping Stones Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a specialized intensive outpatient program designed for adults who struggle with severe and persistent mental illness looking for a supportive recovery environment. This program is tailored to meet the needs of individuals whose symptoms and stage of recovery would be better served with additional support and structure than traditional outpatient services are designed to offer. Stepping Stones allows individuals the flexibility to remain active members of the community while receiving intensive mental health treatment and support.

Evolve’s residential treatment center offers compassionate, evidence-based treatment to adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, substance use, and/or behavioral issues. Many of our teens have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, conduct disorder, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Our handpicked treatment team consists of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, on-site nurses, Master’s-level residential counselors and 24-hour support staff. We utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with experiential therapies (e.g. equine-assisted therapy, mindfulness, surfing, music, art, drama, fitness, yoga and more). Teens participate in individual/family therapy at least five times a week, psychiatry sessions once a week, and daily groups on DBT Skills, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention. For out-of-state families, we conduct family therapy sessions via HIPAA-compliant video conference. We also provide daily academic support to help your adolescent stay on track with school.

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) gives individuals new aptitudes to oversee excruciating feelings and reduce interpersonal frustrations. DBT explicitly centers around giving restorative abilities in four crucial aspects. Mindfulness centers around improving a person's capacity to acknowledge and be available in the moment. Distress tolerance is designed for expanding an individual's resilience of negative feeling, as opposed to attempting to escape from it. Emotional regulation consists of tools to oversee and change extreme feelings that are messing up an individual's life. Interpersonal effectiveness comprises of methods that permit an individual to speak with others in a manner that is confident and assertive, keeps up confidence and self respect, and reinforces connections and relationships.

Located in a beautifully restored home in the historic Hyde Park District of Boise’s North End neighborhood, Center for Change Boise offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Our Boise campus meets the needs of both adolescents and adults of all genders dealing with eating disorders, who don’t require an inpatient setting but need more support and structure beyond traditional outpatient care.

Detox is the process of getting the drugs or alcohol out of the system and treating any uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that may occur. The amount of time a client remains in our detox varies on a number of factors. These includes the severity of the dependency or addiction, what amounts of certain drugs are in the system, the type of drug and how long it takes to get medically stabilized. Medical detoxification involves administering and prescribing a series of medications to help minimize withdrawal and cravings, and constant assessment from medical professionals.
