Jason S Berman, PhD, CGP, Psychologist in Dallas
I often work with caring, introspective, intelligent (there are at least 10+ types of intelligence) people who can (eventually) talk about their negative feelings honestly and openly for healing. You might be carrying past experiences that cast a shadow on your self image, work life or relationships. Or you have a secret that is hurting you. Or life has become harder than it needs to be. If any of these describe you and/or you're ready to work toward psychological health and well-being, call me today.
I offer individual therapy, psychoanalysis and personal growth therapy groups. Group therapy helps with many problems by creating a safe and vital place for people to work on their suffering. I have 3 openings in a Monday evening group and a group coming for those who know their Enneagram number.
I am an advanced candidate in psychoanalysis at the Dallas Psychoanalytic Center. This means that I have two slots for people who would benefit from the intensive, effective treatment of psychoanalysis (e.g. those in the helping professions, clergy, therapists, etc or anyone else) but who need a reduced fee.

Jason S Berman's Groups

Enneagram based therapy group

This group is for adults who have learned their Enneagram type and have a desire to continue on the road to healing and growth. This is a therapy group, not a class or workshop. This means that while Enneagram will be used to have a common language with one another the purpose of the group is therapeutic change with a certified group therapist. This group is for people who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict or traumatic experiences and you are ready to work toward healing and transformation. The group meets weekly for about 45 times per year.

More about this group

Group for Young Adults w/ anxiety/depression

This is a weekly therapy group (~45 sessions/year) to help young adults (ages 20-40) with anxiety and depression to speak openly about their inner lives and work through their problems. In this group you can learn about yourself and grow over time with others. Most people are nervous at first but then come to experience group as helpful and meaningful. Also, having good past individual therapy experiences or a current individual therapist is a solid foundation for being in this type of engaging group. There are Three Seats left in this group.
