You centered therapy...I understand that sometimes you just want to problem solve an issue with your child. I partner with you to help your family mend important relationships, learn healthier coping skills, add some positive strategies, and live without self harm. I understand that sometimes young people can get blindsided by emotional pain and can make terrible choices. I hope to be a "translator" to help you to communicate issues with your adolescent. As your therapist I hope to help you untangle the mess so you can rebuild trust and start living positively again.
Dr Jenkins is board certified. She assists parents, children, teens and college students with anxiety, suicide bereavement, self injury. Since 1995 Jennica has specialized in counseling minors and college students in both educational/clinical settings. Our interns provide Adult therapy, Men's issues, Veterans counseling, and therapy services in Spanish.
Dr. Jenkins is opening TELEPSYCHOTHERAPY services to clients in Ventura County CA. We also offer services with pre-licensed professionals, Clinical Counseling Interns which have Master's degrees in counseling, are registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and supervised by Dr Jennica Jenkins LPCC
