Jennifer S.T. Blair, LCSW, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Culver City
Sometimes life can be filled with challenges that leave us feeling lost, sad, or overwhelmed. At times, the difficulties we face can impact our relationships, mood, or sense of self. Therapy can offer a caring, safe space to process this and gain insight and awareness. My work centers on providing empathy and understanding. Because everyone's needs are different, I ask for us to work collaboratively to co-create the environment that is most beneficial for you. I work with all ages and people experiencing various issues, including: relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, PTSD, low self-esteem, and life transitions.
I have a passion for working with trauma survivors and am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a mindfulness/somatic approach to resolving trauma symptoms. I also love working with young adults and children. I utilize play and expressive art techniques with children to help them process their feelings and improve behaviors.
I have an eclectic style and use different approaches based on your needs; however, primarily, I am a relational therapist. I believe the relationships people have throughout their lives can impact happiness, well-being, and functioning. I will ask to explore those relationships, as well as our therapeutic relationship, together.
