Jennifer Wilhelm, MA, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Austin
Let's face it, life can be difficult at times. Whether it's a life transition or problematic way of being that isn't serving you anymore, therapy can help. We all possess the capacity to cultivate more effective and joyful ways of being. In a non judgmental atmosphere, I work with clients looking at how the past informs the present, what skills you already possess and what patterns/behaviors are no longer serving you.
I work with individuals and groups using dialetical behavior therapy to help clients navigate intense emotions with more effective ways of being. Currently, I have a DBT skills training group for adolescents.
My approach is collaborative, conversational, and goal-orientated. If you are ready to make positive changes in your life and you choose to work with me, you will find me warm and supportive, actively engaged and straight-forward. I look forward to working with you to achieve your personal goals.
