I've been able to have a highly successful relationship with youth and young adults that thoughtfully resolves issues they feel are causing angst in life. For many, this includes life adjustments, substance use, mood related issues, self-harm, and trauma. I also support a large percent of young women working to have positive body image and esteem. I work as a collaborative partner to youth and their support system in identifying personal goals and practical tools to obtain them. Youth exit with a broader understanding of self and increased skills to sustain progress and overall happiness.
I also specialize working with adults to recover from trauma related issues and provide trauma informed care to assure progression at every stage. Women who are exploring ways to move beyond "stuck" parts in the life and increase feelings of confidence are also a significant portion of my work.
Clients find that I am down to earth, compassionate, and dynamic. My relationships with my clients is at the core of what I do and it makes counseling feel comfortable and safe. You will find that I am highly vested in helping arrive at the best point of your life.
