Jessica Strauss, LGSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Baltimore
DAYTIME APPOINTMENTS NOW AVAILABLE. Each and every one of us has the gifts we need to develop our full potential for happiness and loving relationships. I offer support and guidance in a non-judgmental atmosphere, as we collaborate to understand your challenges and build on your strengths to address them. I will help you get through tough times, change unwanted behaviors, or address underlying issues that stand in your way - in a caring and safe environment. I am committed to helping you to grow your sources of support - personal, family, cultural, or spiritual.
My practice is open to children, teens, adults, and families - experiencing stress, trauma, grief, or interpersonal conflict - addressing the "why" behind each challenge. In addition to individual and couples work, I work with children presenting challenging behaviors and their families and teachers to create the most supportive environments possible.
I offer clients a culturally-responsive, strengths-based, family-strengthening approach. Together, we build skills needed to heal, improve relationships, and thrive. I am trained in Structural Family Therapy; Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT); mindfulness/relaxation practices (all ages); currently completing certification process at The Trauma Center.
