I believe that life is not what we accomplish, life is what we overcome. I have been in the mental health profession for over 15 years. My practice style is a goal oriented, client centered, behavioral therapist with specialized training in Gestalt therapy. My specialities include relationship/couples, family therapy, anxiety and depression, addictions and co-dependency, stress and anger management, work related issues, intimacy and shame issues. I also provide Christian counseling as well as other issues of spirituality. I work with the adolescent and adult population.
My primary goal is to help others have a more satisfying expeience in relationships and life in general. I believe that most of us live in our "heads" and disconnect from our "bodies". I also believe that when we live in our mind only, we are further from our truth. I practice the art of helping others connect the mind and the body, with the goal of having a richer deeper experience. The more aware we are of body sensation, energy and emotion, the more we are able to make deeper connection to ourselves and others.
I am available for day and evening appointments as well as saturday appointments if needed. You can expect to be treated with respect and dignity in a warm, friendly comfortable setting. I accept most major insurances and will accept credit card payment.
