In addition to longer term counseling services, I provide short-term counseling services through many workplace based external Employee Assistance Programs, focusing on improving responses to work-related and personal stress. I work collaboratively with internal Employee Assistance Programs to provide assessments and treatment to improve employee work relationships and job satisfaction, and increase productivity.
I am a qualified Substance Abuse Professional, providing evaluation services since 1995, for employees who are in safety-sensitive positions that are covered under the U.S. Department of Transportation. I also teach classes to assist other professionals in becoming qualified Substance Abuse Professionals.
