I work with individuals and couples to help them overcome obstacles in their lives such as unrealized potential, feelings of being overwhelmed or hopeless, relationship troubles, constant stress, and self-destructive behaviors.
In our first appointment you will have a chance to discuss what led you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a feel for how I work. I listen carefully to what you tell me and will provide feedback and observations to help increase awareness and insight to your experience.
I have extensive experience in treating anxiety disorders, depression, and unexplained physical illness and symptoms. I have a particular interest in early childhood trauma. I am a member of the Northwest Family Development Center, Northwest Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (NPSI), Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study (NWAPS), and the GSBA.
