Kaci Allen, MSCMHC, Pre-Licensed Professional in Nashville
Many obstacles can interfere with living life to its fullest. Creating a focused plan and sticking with it can be life changing, but other times there are deeper issues at play. In my practice I work with individuals, couples and families as well as children and adolescents from all walks of life. By exploring early life events that shape our view of the world around us, we are able to work through depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, relationship issues, work-stress, low self-esteem, trust, sexual identity, religious issues and more. I also lead interpersonal psychotherapy groups.
I incorporate a variety of training and experience to meet the unique needs of each client: Play Therapy - Psychodrama - Individuals - Couples - Families - Children & Adolescents - Group Therapy - Relationships.
* Kaci presents nationally on her work with athletes and artists from high school to professional levels, helping maximize performance and cope with a variety of clinical issues. Kaci Allen's Groups

Psychotherapy Group: Drop the mask, start living!

Vulnerability can be scary. When we have been conditioned to act, look, think or speak in certain ways in order to be loved and accepted, we begin living life from a false sense of self. All too often this mask becomes so protective and familiar we lose who we really are. THE FACADE IS EXHAUSTING! This Interpersonal Psychotherapy Group will use themes from New York Times Best-Selling Author, Donald Miller's book, Scary Close.(provided) Leaders use an integrative approach to facilitate group cohesion and create a safe environment to drop the mask and learn to let love in.
