Kara Ashley-Gilmore, MA, LPCA, Counselor in Hendersonville
When you're suffering from anxiety, you may walk around pretending that everything is fine in front of friends, family, and colleagues, but secretly you are struggling to get through the day without falling apart. It's no secret that times are tough, and the world can feel like a stressful place to live. There's a lot to worry about, but worrying alone has never helped anyone. Anxiety is exhausting and leaves you with no time or energy to put towards the things that could pull you out of this cycle of overthinking, excessive worry, panic, exhaustion, and overwhelm.
I can help. I know anxiety inside and out--the way only someone who has been there and crawled her way out can understand. However, progress means being willing to face some hard truths and make changes in your lifestyle. I'll challenge you, but I'll also support you.
If you've been trying to manage on your own, but you aren't making any progress. Give me a call, and I can help you get some relief. Read more about me in this April 23, 2017 Time's News article: https://goo.gl/0uDlx5
