Currently offering telehealth couple and individual therapy. I also offer psychological assessments in ADHD, giftedness, learning/intelligence, personality, and trauma. Every next level of your life will demand a different version of you. As a professor of psychology, I am strongly aligned with current and evolving science/thinking on most effective approaches for paving your next path forward, and reshaping patterns within yourself, and with others. I collaborate with you to challenge what isn't working, and to build up more of what IS working in your life.
As a professor at University of Denver, my clinical science work focuses on couple therapy, assessment, LGBTQ identity experiences, and death/meaning ideas. As a therapist for a wilderness excursion young adult cancer survivor group, I teach mindfulness skills and self reflection.
Working from a culturally sensitive, nonjudgmental, supportive, and empowering perspective, I never operate from a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we collaborate to find the best path toward your goals, identifying problematic patterns, emphasizing growth, and challenging defenses. I look forward to helping you write the next chapter.
