Therapy is a deeply personal process that is not about fixing an issue, but rather creating a safe place for growth, insight, and healing. I will never claim to have answers or magical solutions to another's unique story or experience. What I can offer is years of experience with creating safety and warmth for those who have difficulty finding those environments. I have a genuine affection, curiosity, and appreciation for the rich and inspiring life stories that clients share with me.
If a person can experience an environment that is accepting, respectful, and private, I believe they can gain the insight needed to resolve their discomfort, or find the tools that have been with them all along. I am truly grateful that people share their lives with me every day.
I am trained in EMDR and have a passion for working with families in crisis. I have extensive experience working with military families, active duty and retired service members, and first responders. I am also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for LPC and LMFT Associates in the State of Texas.
