Looking for substance abuse counseling but find many of the services available involve large groups filled with unmotivated and court mandated clients, large time commitments, forced or required specific self-help participation or contain clients with much more severe problems and troubles? Well, you have come to the right place. I provide substance abuse services for discerning clients who are looking for a tailored, individualized approach to care. Rather than the traditional approaches of heavy confrontation and coercion, I provide hope and the opportunity to change through the use of Evidenced Based Practices that are always delivered in an atmosphere of encouragement, optimism and compassion.
I have extensive experience working with those who have substance abuse and psychological/psychiatric problems. As a Co-Occurring Disorders Expert, my style incorporates cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy techniques and other Evidenced Based Practices. I have a proven record of positive treatment outcomes and offer a uniquely practical approach to helping people change their behavior.
As a Doctoral level Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 25 years of experience, I am a preferred provider for many executives, professionals, and VIP's who are seeking substance abuse & co-occurring services. Sessions are provided in a decidedly discrete manner affording both comfort and confidentiality.

Alternative to Intensive Outpatient Program (AIOP)

This is a custom program of intensive individual/couple/family sessions and urine screens that meets 2 - 4 times per week. Not everyone responds to the traditional IOP group approach. Whether it be the large time commitments, uncomfortability in large groups, concerns about privacy and confidentiality or the expense, the traditional IOP group program does not work for everyone. AIOP is a unique alternative for patients who require intensive services but who seek an alternative to the IOP group model. The AIOP is a custom, individually tailored program of individual sessions, couple/family sessions and urinalysis screens that meets 2 to 4 times per week.
