Kim Murphy, MS, LMHC, Counselor in Orlando
If you're searching this site, you're probably at your wit's end or near it. Perhaps your family and friends are tired of hearing about your worries. Maybe they really don't know how to help you-although they have tried, with mixed results and (for the most part) the best of intentions. I can provide you or your child with the guidance and support you need to get your life back on track OR help you to change course to the track you're ready to travel.
My clients often tell me that I'm not what they expected. They are pleasantly surprised that we are able to connect easily and deeply and that the therapy process can actually be enjoyable. I offer my clients a place to feel safe as they explore who they really are.
As an Exceptional Student Education teacher for children on the Autism spectrum for three years, I gained extensive experience and training in working with kids who need support in navigating educational as well as social environments.

Kim Murphy's Groups

Relational Group Therapy

Designed to help individuals get in touch with their experiences, and to develop their ability to express feelings in a manner that can be well-received by others. This group helps individuals uncover their own relational styles. As a therapy group evolves, participants develop healthier, more effective means of dealing with potent feelings and are able to carry those skills outside of the group and into their personal lives.
