L Lea Decker, LCSW

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , LCSW , LMFT

(919) 429-7337
Are you feeling overwhelmed or hopeless? Have you been struggling in your life or in your relationships? As your therapist my first concern is to provide you with a safe environment to look at the reasons that bring you in and the changes you wish to make. Whether the issue you bring in is a life transition, a loss, a difficult relationship, depression , anxiety or another problem, I see us working together to explore your goals, build new skills and build the confidence you need to make the changes you want..
In order to reach our potential in life we need to be able to access our feelings as well as our thoughts. Our needs and wants are based on both. I teach the skills that are designed to clarify feelings and thoughts in order to help my clients reach their goals.
I work with both men and women going through transitions in relationships, job changes, medical challenges or other personal crises. Part of therapy includes working with my clients to help them develop their own social and support network of friends, potential friends and family that are so important to continued success in the future.
