Are you just simply not happy with yourself? Not even enjoying rare moments of "downtime"? Maybe being kind to yourself is not something you learned. I can help you plot a clear, caring path to your own heart, your true home, and live and love from that place. I offer awareness-based psychotherapy to compassionately traverse challenges of transition, loss, guilt, unworthiness, trauma and fear. Befriend yourself, Love your life! Listen to this guided meditation via The Center For Mindfulness YouTube channel -- I can help guide you home.
This transformative path marries mindful awareness with custom bio-cognitive breath-work for anxiety, depression, chemical addiction, emotional eating, stress overwhelm and obsessive thinking. Change is sustainable because the practice tools of breath-body awareness and integration can be immediately accessed in times of high stress and confusion.

Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training

Are you over-full and still unsatisfied? Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) is a small group approach to emotional/compulsive over-eating. In overfeeding ourselves, we attempt to compensate for dissatisfaction with ourselves, our relationships and lives. Satisfy your hungry heart and nourish your body by re-balancing your essential relationship with food. Through guided awareness practices, tune into the felt-sense of hunger, desire, choice and fullness. The MB-EAT protocol was supported by a 1.8 million NIH grant. Originator Jean Kristeller, PhD. says "Binge eating represents a fundamental breakdown between body and mind."
