Mandy Lee, MEd, LPC, Counselor in Houston
Life presents with many challenges and my goal as a therapist is to help you navigate and develop positive strategies to cope with these challenges. I started my first career in corporate communications, which allows me to build an extensive experience in listening and developing strong relationships. I have conducted behavioral health workshops for corporate organizations to assist employees in managing their work stress and work problems.
I have worked in hospitalization programs conducting group, family, couple, and individual therapy. I enjoy working with children and have conducted workshops catered to their needs, in particular school-related anxiety, family relationships difficulties, communications and depression. I helped parents to manage expectations and communications with the younger generation.
My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. I am effectively multi-lingual and am able to converse in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
