Marie E. Benjamin, MA, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Cedar Hill
A great quote says that without a goal, you can't score. The same concept is taken a step further in the Bible, where it says that without a vision, people perish. It's easy to overlook the importance of courageous goals and bold, new visions--that can create a new quality of life for ourselves and those we love.
My approach to counseling is from a Biblical perspective, and I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems as my primary methods. While my therapeutic strategies are unique to each client, my focus lies in creating an open, accepting, honest, safe & trusting environment for transformative growth to occur.
My experience includes addressing mental health issues with children, adults & families. I've worked in community clinics and with the court system; and witnessed many people overcome histories of abuse, destructive behaviors and damaged relationships--and embrace a life of significance and strength. You can too...Are you ready?
