Dr. Good specializes in marital therapy. His favorite sayings are: - "Everyone walks through life a little differently," "The person is more important than the problem," and "Maybe you're right!" Dr. Good has worked with couples, families and individuals in the Annapolis community since 1978. He assists couples to have conversations they always wished they could have. He is a Board Certified Diplomate in clinical social work.
He earned a B.A. in mathematics from Cornell University, an M.A. in religion and counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in social work from University of Maryland. He has taught at Chesapeake Theological Seminary and University of Maryland. In 2000 he co-founded CornerStone Institute.
Susan and he have been married over 40 years. They have three married children and eight grandchildren, one of whom died at birth. They lead marriage health workshops where couples practice skills and learn perspectives for stronger marriages. He just finished his first book - skills to have a real conversation.
