Dr. Jennifer Imig Huffman is a Developmental Neuropsychologist formally trained in pediatric, adult, and geriatric Neuropsychology. She understands the conditions that can impact the well-being of an individual across their lifespan, and the impact these conditions can have on the family. She has 20 years combined training/clinical experience in brain and behavior functioning in children and specializes in the following conditions: Attention & Executive Functioning; Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's, & Tic Disorders; Learning Disabilities (including nonverbal learning disability); Attachment & Sensory Processing difficulties; Head Injury/Concussion; and Anxiety, Mood Disorders, and Temper Tantrums/Meltdowns.
Dr. Huffman specializes in parent and school consultation, integrative comprehensive neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological evaluations, and evidence-based child and family treatments. She collaborates closely with medical and allied health providers, schools, and family members to facilitate healthy emotional and cognitive development as well as family and peer relationships.
Dr. Huffman frequently collaborates with public and private schools regarding the educational needs of children with cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions/disabilities. She or her staff are available to attend school meetings, provide in-services, and help parents and schools translate evaluation results into measurable goals and reasonable accommodations.
