Nicholas Mohr, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Austin
I am currently NOT accepting new clients. I specialize in addictions, anxiety, self harm, and PTSD. I primarily perform home visits for counseling because I feel that it helps the client to feel more comfortable. My work is psychodynamically focused, but borrows heavily from other traditions as well. My clients tend to be those struggling with anxiety, fear, addictions, and/or trauma. I work with clients from a variety of ages and backgrounds. I have completed my first book on recovery called "Recover Like A Champion Today" which is on sale now on Amazon.
My work focuses on treatment of the whole person, not simply their addiction or their anxiety. I believe that by bringing positive changes to a person's daily life we can reduce substance use and anxiety from trauma.
My practice is unique in that I travel to see you in the comfort of your home. This is ideal for those with issues that make it difficult to leave the house, or even for those with little time for therapy in a busy schedule. I believe that home therapy produces better outcomes for clients.
