Patricia A Danks, LMFT, PhD, Marriage & Family Therapist in Plymouth
I am an interactive therapist with 30+ years experience working with individuals, couples, & families. I have assisted many people through traumatic experiences, life transitions, and chronic situations. My experience with marriages, relationships and family issues have prepared me to face challenges that may be devastating for you to face alone. Whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, struggling in a relationship, facing divorce, need guidance in parenting, or fear for someone you love, I can be of help. Family and couple counseling with me can be successful in as few as six 50-minute sessions.
Clients will identify personality strengths and weaknesses changing what is not working. We will identify the cause of problems and learn new, healthy responses. I welcome all relationship dynamics:couple, family, friends and co-workers. Difficult and sensitive issues are addressed with expertise in a friendly, safe, non-judgmental way.
I respect and value every client's experience & spiritual view. I welcome gay/lesbian clients; am successful with infidelity & sex addiction; families living with mental illness and addiction. I provide a safe, comfortable environment to address social anxiety and shyness that interfere with a happy life. I am available for Skype sessions.
