* I am not currently accepting new clients.* Our life experiences affect how we view the world and our confidence in navigating through it. Therapy provides an opportunity to examine how these life experiences strengthen and challenge us. Experiencing a traumatic event can cause the world to feel like a dangerous place and result in feeling incompetent in handling daily life tasks. Addressing trauma in therapy can decrease fear and increase confidence in regaining control of your life.
I specialize in treating trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder. I work with adults and adolescents to process traumatic memories and build confidence to move forward with their lives.
In addition to trauma work, I treat anxiety and depression utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. Together we'll explore your concerns and determine the therapeutic approach that best suits you and your needs.
