I have considerable experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, insomnia, weight management, relationship issues, professional concerns, self-esteem, and life transitions. I have worked successfully with adolescents and adults of diverse racial, cultural, and sexual orientations.
Comprehensive training in health psychology has provided me with extensive opportunities to promote well-being and adjustment in individuals struggling with chronic diseases (e.g., heart disease, diabetes, cancer, HIV, chronic pain) and issues associated with aging (e.g., dementia, loss of function). Treatments I employ have strong empirical support.
