I believe a central component of the therapeutic process is the relationship that's established between the therapist and the client. A safe and trusting relationship provides an environment in which you are able to explore those unresolved issues and old patterns that are not letting you have the quality of life you would like to have. Therapy is an opportunity to identify what's not working for you, view it from different angles, and learn strategies that will result in alternate ways of relating to yourself and to others that may be more conducive to becoming the person you want to be.
I believe that relationships are intricately intertwined with our identities. Our family history and lived experiences deeply influence our sense of self and our view of the world. I have over twenty years experience working with people and supporting them as they identify and work through their experiences with trauma, grief, loss and hurtful relationships.
I'm from Argentina and I'm bilingual & bicultural. I've had the opportunity to work, live and study in both countries. My understanding of how relocating to a new culture impacts the individual, the family and the challenges associated to relating to a new system, can be very helpful to immigrants.
