I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents. My background includes clinical work at several New York City hospitals, including Mount Sinai and Bellevue, as well as a private practice in Montclair, N.J. I am also a professor at Montclair State University since 2010, and have published articles on optimism and resilience.
I believe that therapy is a partnership between therapist and client. I work in a collaborative atmosphere, to help the client understand his or her areas of pain or distress. I have particular expertise working with depression and anxiety in both adults and adolescents. For more information, please visit my website at www.phoebefarberphd.com.
