Roger N Hess, PhD, Psychologist in Beachwood
As a Clinical Psychologist for many years, I focus on anxiety and anti-anxiety training and coaching, depression and anti-depression training and coaching, OCD, relationship training and coaching for individuals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is my specialty and is a very learner friendly set of skills. Whatever method used, healing old wounds releases new energy for learning the skills and achieving the knowledge to overcome old habits that interfere with the best we can be. Building and learning mindfulness skills is an integral part of CBT.
Anxiety control is a skill you can learn. Depressed moods and low energy are reversible. Your motivation and learnable tools puts power into your hands. CBT is a tool box of learned skills for managing moods and anxiety and serves as a mindfulness practice to reduce tension and sharpen awareness.
There are natural ways to control anxiety and stress, including guided meditation, imagery, and breathing and mindfulness exercises that modify nervous system habits and help reduce stress. Some areas I serve are: Solon (44139), Shaker Hts (44120), Lyndhurst (44124), Mayfield Hts (44124), Twinsburg (44087), Mentor (44060), Concord and surrounding areas.
