The process of therapy is to bring about clarity during difficult situations and discover new ways of dealing with life's stressors. Using a collaborative, strength-based approach, my goal is to aid in self realization and develop strategies and plans to deal with life's obstacles in order to bring about positive change. I have a Masters in Psychology with a dual concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. I am licensed in the state of Connecticut as a professional counselor, and an addictions counselor.
In working with children, I focus on setting boundaries, developing coping skills, and engaging in pro-social activities. In working with teens, I try to encompass all aspects of their life, including issues at school, home, and work. With adults, the focus is on the topic du-jour.
