I have been involved in research, assessment and treatment of AD/HD for the past 18 years. Individuals with AD/HD usually experience difficulty with focus and concentration. However, they also experience difficulties with procrastination, time management, planning, organizing, and completing projects at home, work and/or in school. There may also be difficulties with delaying gratification, impulse control, memory, and feelings of restlessness. These symptoms impact work, school, friendships, family, intimate relationships, and overall quality of life. An accurate assessment of AD/HD is an important step toward getting help.
In my practice I have learned that an initial clinical interview is an important first step in the process. By gathering a detailed history and exploring your current life situation, we can decide together which tests are most appropriate for your individual needs.
I also have extensive experience with the assessment and identification of Learning Disabilities.
