I see psychotherapy as a supportive, safe and accepting space in which we can figure out what isn't working in your life and find ways for you to feel more satisfied and fulfilled. I am thoughtful, compassionate and down-to-earth, with 20 years of experience as a therapist. I tailor my approach to fit you; I do not do "one size fits all" therapy. Together we can explore relationship patterns that may be causing you distress. I see children as well as adults, for behavior issues, anxiety, and other concerns.
I enjoy working with a range of issues, including family relationships and depression/anxiety. I specialize in working with children, and adults. I use play, art and talk therapy with children. I have expertise treating child behavior problems, children with past abuse/neglect, and with helping parents help their child.
I welcome individual adults, and children under 12 to my practice. I work with parents and families as part of child therapy. For couples therapy, I am happy to refer you to a clinician with this specialty.
