I believe that there are valid reasons why we feel and act the way we do. I work with individuals to help them learn new ways of coping that encourage healing and enable them to move forward in their lives. I enjoy helping people through difficult transitions to get to a place of greater happiness and satisfaction, both personally and professionally. I have been trained in relational-cultural, cognitive-behavioral, narrative and psychodynamic theories along with mindfulness and compassion-based approaches.
I specialize in treating a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, parenting concerns, eating and body image challenges and trauma. I welcome the opportunity to work with people of all races, cultural backgrounds, gender identities and people from the LGBTQIA community.
My style is open, warm, interactive and supportive. I will explore your goals and work with you toward achieving them in a collaborative, empowering way at a pace that is right for you.
