Reaching out for help is often the most difficult step in resolving some of life's tough issues. It's sometimes hard to admit that we're having problems with our children or communicating with our husband or wife. I work with children, adolescents and adults to teach new ways of looking at situations and coping with difficult issues. Often times, just being able to put a name to what's happening in your life can bring such a sense of relief.
My specialty areas are teaching kids and adults coping strategies such as problem solving, effective communication and relaxation techniques to manage depression and anxiety. I also specialize with couples in areas of communication, parenting and salvaging relationships after an affair has occurred.
I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in private practice as well as in the school system. I offer convenient daytime and evening appointment hours in the comfort of a small private office.
